Here is the topic......Ever since Fortuno has got into office things have been crazy. Some can argue that it was like that before he took office. Others say he hasn't done anything productive. One thing that has people in an uproar is the layoffs. He has fired many people since he took office. Now, the argument is not whether or not it should have been done. We all know there are too many people that work for the government that shouldn't be there. The debate is how should have he fired the people that needed to be fired. So, your job is to help give options to Fortuno about what he could or should have done to help the people of Puerto Rico with the firings. You are writing a process paragraph about how to go about firing the people that need firing. IF you have no idea about the subject.....Look at the newspapers online and in print...(Library has them too).... DUE FRIDAY!!!!!!
Everyone knows that our government has a lot of workers that aren't that necessary and is have known for years. This new government start to "clean up the house", but not in a very good way. Fortuños staff should evaluate in a more proper and beneficial way for the government and the employees. First of all they need to know the exact excess and were the come from. Then make a research of the amount of agencies that have those excess. After locating those agencies, evaluate the personal who work there and the need of the agency. After that evaluation they should divide the employees they should retire in the next two year and make a "window" so they can retire. After they retire those employees, they evaluate the unnecessary positions in the agency so the can eliminate them and low the personal working in there. Also they need to cut the sub contract employers and only leave the ones that directly work for the agency. Cutting the sub contract workers, they are able to assign those duties to the direct workers so they can save that money. Following those steps the government could save a lot of employees to keep their jobs and still saving money with out a high unemployment situation in the country.

Fortuno its been doing things right, thats what many people think , but other people said that he is the worst governor.The reality is that he need to make those changes for a better P.R.. First he need to make be strong to that is not an easy job , because many people is going to get fired ,but it need to be

ReplyDeleterice and beans in PR people first rinse the pot and throw him 4 cups water and boil, then throw boiling rice 3 cups are venean it with a little salt and cover it, so that simmer. After this rinse find another pot and put it on the stove and seek their sofrito, garlic throw onions, cilantro, coriander, and pepper and throw ajis a spoonful to the pot and put it to fry with a little oil to fry after people add a little tomato sauce, then you throw two cans of pink beans venean throw him a little salt, itch join the cast is small potatoes and then cover it to cook and thicken. In the process, monitor and maintain veneando each one point for every cook. After that draw from the refrigerator pickles, lettuce, spinach, tomato, broccoli, cabbage and some black olives, with this prepared a nice salad and put it on the table, along with rice and beans for all to serve.

The government is out of control and here is many reasons. Now Fortuño is the new governor and he is making a lot of bad decisions to our country. First Fortuño do a disaster when he fired a lot of people that needs that employee to maintain their family. Now that people don't have anything to raise up in theirs life's. The most interesting thing is that Fortuño start doing this action to the innocent people in our country, but he don't start by the people that work in the government that theirs jobs is very unnecessary. This people consume a lot of money in abundance, but Fortuño don't see that this is so bad. Fortuño have to choose a necessary small group that do the correct work with a contract and with a logical salary that economizes money and doesn,t affect our country. Next Fortuño can evaluate other people to substitute the people that are working before and his contracts get finished. Exist a lot of solutions and best things to do with our country, but this government is without resolution.

Fortuño as the governor of Puerto Rico has been giving the right to make decisions for the Island. Not all the people of Puerto Rico agree with the decisions that he is making, especially about firing people. Many people don’t really understand why he is firing that many people and how this is suppose to be good for Puerto Rico. Many people are shocked and scared about the large amount of people that have been fired in a small period of time. Some believe that there should be another way of solving the financial issues without having so many people loose there jobs. There are many different ways of firing people without having so many people upset. First the governor should let his people know what he is trying to do to help better the situation in this Island. Then he should have a plan on how to help the economy without having so many people affected. Next he should have the right people in charge to supervise on what jobs are really needed. It’s true that many people are taking positions that are not needed and that way making the economy a worse situation. The last step should be to find a way of providing for the people that have lost there jobs. There are many ways of solving a problem, and that will determine the reaction of the people. When making decisions that affects many people it’s important to consider the option of the ones that are going to be affected. But sometimes decisions have to be made even if no one agrees.

He promise a lot of thing for this country for good but today never happen . he said that he never discharge any one . Fortuños talk to much demogacy when he is in the news . It is big mistake that this person talk like every thing is ok and he nows that this country needs help . Other problem to the goverment is the people around him is bad influence for our country. First they have a salary that it can give him to eat for all the people that they fire . they can reduce his salary and used the rest for the people how realy needed . then fortuños have to think about what person in his gabinet are bad influnce for some progects. Then goverment has to think if they do the rigth thing or not about who person choose . before this he need to stop the deprive and support the econmy producing in Puerto Rico like the mini market and thing about his contry not the rich people becuase the rich people are done yet. For today’s project, I’ve chosen. By measuring my bust, waist and widest part of my hips, I know which size to get. Let me warn you ahead of time that while stores have undergone size inflation through the phenomenon known as “flattery sizing,” the pattern industry has stuck with the same sizes that explain Marilyn Monroe’s being a 14. According to the chart, I need a size 12 for my bust, a 18 for my midsection and an 16 for my ample rear end. Yet in stores I wear an 8. So don’t freak out if your pattern size is several sizes bigger than your store size. The most important part to fit is my waist. If I can’t zip up the dress, all is for naught. For figures like mine, a dress form comes in really handy. I am hoping to make one this year. This is a great project to get your partner to help with; s/he will think it’s wonderfully kinky.I would not have chosen this for a beginner because it has a zipper, and those are a bit daunting for a first project unless your tutor is on hand to help you through it. Speaking of tutors, learning to sew it a great excuse to revive your relationship with an older relative who wishes you would come see her or him more often. You will see two sets of numbers on the package, one for 60″ wide fabric and one for 45″ wide fabric.Once home, after I’ve set up my machine and ironing board and iron, step one is to pre-shrink any shrinkable fabric that you plan to wash. My fabric is linen with muslin lining, so I surely should do this. But I don’t have a washer in my home, so I will just have to lose weight this spring or not machine wash my dress. :) Do as I say, children, not as I do.

This corruptor is now firing everybody .I know that some people doesn’t do his work well, but how do we know ? The irresponsible employee are always serious and always trate people bad. Many of the laws that have been ruined by the political parties seriously affect to the citizens of Puerto Rico. Although the political fanaticism is guilty of what is happening in Puerto Rico today, there are many things that Fortuño could deal starting with these problems:
ReplyDeleteParents are working 50-60 hours a week to obtain or complete the income that she earned only 40 hours of work a week, back to the days of slavery for the rich are richer every day.
In the public relations industry was reduced vacation and sick leave from 17 to 15 days per year to only 12 days a year. The benefit of sick days accumulated is lost.
The court of justice of Puerto Rico ruled against the workers by eliminating overtime paid double time. None of the successive governments did nothing for the worker. They went to the rich benefit.
All governments have been complicit in not enforcing the law for the payment of 50% of the cost of the health plan for employees. Even the government violates the law.
These problems and many others the governor of PR has a duty to begin to resolve.

its been pretty crazy ever since fortuno came into office. especially when he unlawfully kicked out a 3rd of the employers from their jobs. We all knew that there needed to be layoffs but the way he kicked out all of those people was just wrong. he should have gave some warning and gave people a form of income. for example unemployment is a great form of getting people back on the road. this is one of the many problems that the government of puerto rico is struggling with, but with hard work anything is possible.
ReplyDeleteFortuno is doing what need to be done but most of the people say that if it was them doing the job they would have done things slightly differently. First, the say, they would organize a panel of experts in human resources. Then they would order that panel to analize each and everyone of the workers. The experts should choose the people to be fired based not only on years of service, but on effort, experience an knowledge. After that they should analize how the family of each fired individual would react, how they would supply for the basic needs. Most importantly the people fired would have to be supplied of a health insurance and "cupones" to ensure that food is available at their table every day. Doing things in an organized way a better, more fair future can be accomplished.

Puerto Rican Republican governor Luis Fortuño promised not to cut jobs when running for office, but only a few short months in announced massive cuts, despite millions in stimulus money earmarked to maintain employment. About 150,000 Puerto Ricans participated in a general strike. It is absolutely tragic the amount of people losing their jobs in PR. However, government agencies in PR have a well known reputation of hiring people based on political favors from both main parties. Add that to the fact of a decadent economy and the result is the current situation. The government should make a better effort to resolve that situation. On the other hand, never excuse the behavior shown by the person who threw the egg. The day you think that it excusable to act that way, you are just showing the character of a person who employers do not like.

ReplyDeleteIn order to keep a tight budget, I have to find a new job, keep a record of my money, and take care with my free time. The first step is to consider getting a second or third job because doing so has two advantages; you can make more money and you have less time to spend the money! Secondly, you must record all the money that you receive and spend. This called your salary, and it should be more than the money you spend. This is called a budget. Don’t forget to include money you spend regularly, such as gas, rent, car payment and electricity: also keep in mind any special checks you write for food, new shoes, and vacation. Think about how you spend your free time; try to spend your free time without spending money! For example, you spend money on activities like movies, parties, and restaurant. You should cut back on these unnecessary expenses. After you follow these steps, you will save money, time, and worry.

Everybody know that Fortuno had doing a lot of thing wrong since he take the "power", but one of the thing that he have to take action is in the education, in Puerto Rico. because the children are the future.
ReplyDeleteEvery day the educational system in Puerto Rico, needs more arrays and more initiative. The government should implement certain rules and authority to teachers taking with account the development of the child depends on the master. Therfore, the education department of the country has to take action on the matter.
First, the education department should clean schools in regard to these teachers that not take seriously their role as a teacher. every teacher should receive talks, workshop, and materials that can help the master for a better developing with students and parents. Then, other things that they should implement is give the necessary authority to each teacher, because today the master is not respected as it shoould and that is why students not take seriously what teachers are siying, and from this the academic development of the student may be affected. Another important procedure is that each teacher has obligation to know everything that they're teaching in the day, because many of them are not teach nothing in class, and when they want to explain the class, students do not understand anything, in the same way this factor can affect the teaching-learning process.
If the government together with the edunation department had his process then children today they had a better future and leave more trained.
In conclusion, children are the future, and teacher are the key, to the future of children. How everybody know children cannot learn alone,they need a guide and this guide certainly are teachers and parents. Is important that the governor Fortuno put rules to take account of this process of school improvement for a better future.

Since that "Ley 7" was signed a lot of people have lost their jobs. Some say Fortuño could have thought of a better way to fire the people that he fired. The following will explain how to fire a person or persons if necessary, little tips that Fortuño can follow.
ReplyDeleteFirst he should decide if he either want to fire that employee in person or by way of a letter or someone else. After he decides, he should think of something comforting to say; he shouldn't just spit out "You're fired!" like Donald Trump. He should think that if he were about to be fired how would he like to be treated. Then He should explain the reasons why that person is being fired, some people just fire an employee and don't explain why, he should try to avoid this. Before letting the person know they are being fired he shouldn't build tension between the employees because that makes the news even harder to take. After letting the person know he or she is being fired he should offer a job solution to their newly obtained economical situation, make a reference do something to mediate their current situation. And last of all he should notify security to be present and be on the defensive in case the employee he just fired decides to take all his anger on his office, the person Fortuño sent to fire him or Fortuño himself if he did it in person.
Being fired is hard news to take. So people should be sympathetic when firing a person. Fortuño should have thought of a better way to fire an employee, not just to give a thank you later and say bye bye, because in other words he is just saying "F*@$ You!".

For reasons of the crisis that is suffered the people of Puerto Rico, the governor of Luis Fortuno applied the "law 7." This Act is intended to assist in the control and reduction of fiscal expenditures. Also seeks to eliminate the structural deficit, public debt and the restoration of fiscal health. Unfortunately this law will affect a large number of public employees, who depend on their jobs to support their families and living expenses. For this reason a large number of families were directly affected by the implementation of this law. But if it is true that in life things happen that are unfair and that many innocent people pay for situations that are not under its control. The government should implement the law in a more subtle and try to reduce to the least negative effect would be the same for public employees, but this was not the case.
ReplyDeleteHere are some tips that the government should implement or that affected a smaller form. First they had to communicate measures would be implemented over time, so that those affected in this way could analyze and seek better solutions to their economic problems. On the other hand had to analyze more carefully what were the positions that could be eliminated, regardless of the range that the person possessed. Finally if it ever considered the situation with a little more tact and kindness, those affected would have felt that their needs are important and valuable to the government. We must recognize that in such circumstances, not everybody can be comprehensive and it is not easy to accept, but if it had taken more into account the needs and feelings of those affected, these at least would have felt more compliant.
