This is the final blog for the semester. I would like a paragraph, IN THIRD PERSON, about the good and the bad about using blogs this semester. Use your experiences and ideas as evidence. This semester has been much progress in English class. The use of blogs has helped students in the learning process. Blogs are useful for the student to practice their writing, also writing in third person and to practice doing essays. Many students have benefited from the work of this class and we have all learned something that will help us in our lives and as future professionals.

the blogs this semester was a little hectic at first. just because i was pretty hard to find where to write and summit your own blog. but after the months went by the blogs got easier and easier, just due to the fact that the website got more user friendly. other than that the blog was overall good.

Students at UAA are tired of writing blogs. They accept that during the semester their English language skills may have improoved a little, but given the fact that they have so much work to do from other classes writing about a chocolate volcano may feel silly and boring. Even though they may not like it so much they certainly learned and improoved their skills. Maybe for next semester the professor shoul give more serious, or controversial themes.

The blogs is method that motived to understand much better this language. This way of learn is fun bedcause you can see other persons opinion about a them . It is a great way to used blogs and help people for the vocbulary in english and hepl you to be a perfect writer . The obligation of write in third persond moves your neuron to look on the dictionary or demostrated how fluid is yor language in bouth side in english and spanish . Some how not dominated the english in the participated in this kind of hepls to get a better letter in english . Writing in english is one of the problems that many people have but , if we practice every day we can do it much better an progress . This is a positive way that many people can’t see . like How this affect you like student to become a better person in life. This affect you in your life in a positive to get a job or comunicated like a profesional. Negative of the blog well rigth now i don’t now but for said somethig the graphics more cool because all the thems are great even tthe volcano ice-cream becuase in that blog you has to need a great imagination and this makes you to be original an creatived . This is one of de blogs that was very difficult . Thanks to this learn new things in the grammar is good for us.

This was my first time using a Blogs. At first I found it like to much, but I just found out it was a lot easier that I thought I did blog 6, 8, 9 and 10 in less than 2 hours. Prof you help us use our imagination, which was real cool the ice cream volcano I found it very silly it had been long since I didn’t made a story like that. Profe I would like doing a blog everyday rather than doing the laboratory, I am sorry but I don’t like it is so boring I can’t stand it. Writing the blog help us improve our thinking and writing in English. It was great taking Huen 121 with you.

This is my first time using blogs too. At the begining it was so difficult for me and I spend much time doing this. But now I can write in english more fast and easier thanks to God obviously and to the blogs. This helps me to practice english, here (in Puerto Rico) we don't have much people to practice because only a few of our population speak english all the time. Thanks Professor Ligneli to search alternatives that helps us learn about writing process.

it is good using blogs to improve the skills in a language that needs practicing. One of the best things it haves is that a person can see many other peoples ideas. That is a good way to grow mentally, by seeing and respecting other ideas. Also it teaches how to deal with new sites in the computer, so that way it improves the technological skills.

The class HUEN 121 is a great class. Students improve in their writing skills. The professor is very creative and very funny. He makes students write like 2 essays per week, that really help improve. He is one of the best profesors on the University. Students favorite class was the one he brings candy, that was very creative and fun.

The class of advance English with the profesor Lignelli is very interesting. The professor Lignelli uses a new method of practice that consist in doing the famous blogs. This blogs help the students to use the critical thinking and learn the skills to do a good writing and reading. Students like to a have a professor that uses new ways of learning, that is a good advance for the professor Lignelli. Students know that the class with the professor lignelli always is very fun and very interesting, obviously the class with the professor Lignelli was a good experience.

The use the blog in the past six months has been an experience. For many it was our first time, and has been very good. Each student should welcome to use the blog, because it is the only way where each have interaction with others by means of a monitor, where everybody can see, and read what others are saying about the classes, items, and also learn about the comments of others.Some of the things many enjoyed was the ice-cream volcano blog which for many was a challenge, because they had to use imagination and be a little creative. It would be important if all classes in english put these blogs, which help the developmenr of writting and thought. Many are those who give thanks to the Prof. for all that he did for his students and to at least run a few miles with us to get our mission.

The english class is cool but the laboratory is so boring and can not stand to be there. the blog is nice and unique because no see other profesor with this idea. The professor Ligneli is a cool profesor he is dynamic and uses many form to teach and that so cool.

ReplyDeleteThis semester has been alot of a work and development in the english class. The blog has been a great idea and a nice waqy to communicate with other persons, and to get to know them and how they think. Also it help to develop everyones thoughts and experience throu writting exercises. The laboratory is a little bit boring but its kind of handy. Prof. Lignelli is a professional on his field who knows how to get to his students indivudualy no matter the circumstances.

Families around the world leaves parents in homes for elderly, because they cannot take care of them.
For many people this is cruel, because these people that are elderly have feelings. Everyone that are interesting in this service have to be careful.
Many of these centers commited much cruelty to the elderly, for example, in some cases when the family bring something to their parents, the nurses took it to them.
It is important that each take into account what is best for their parents, and not simply abandon them to their fate, at the end of everything they brought us to the world. It is our duty to return the favor.

Wow... this semester has been hectic for me. The blog was a great way of keeping up with my work and the progress of the class. I specially liked the assignments that had crazy stories behind them like the outragous description, or the volcano shoots ice cream out. Those were fun to do. The blogs are very good, because have examples of other classmates and this helps a lot to the student. Many students have computer but no printer in the house. In the students only thing you have to do is to write on the blog and send. Another important point is easier for the professor correct assignments. When the student goes to the professor office is simpler to show you the errors. Also serves as the negative point. Is that many students are afraid to write, because the majority of students are Hispanic and write better in Spanish. The problem is that other students can see the errors and taunting of students. The vision of each student should be learned from each mistake.

The idea of creating a blog where students express themselves and demonstrate their creativity is very good. Through the feedback students can discuss issues interezante and refine their writing in English. An idea or contribution that can help students of upcoming classes is that from time to time the teacher can put a few examples of what he expected of the students do, so this way they can do a job to fill teacher expectations . For everything else the blog is a good tool to help students improve and practice using the language that will help them in the future.
